Custom tattoos, free consultations, and a little planning before the needle hits the skin.

Send your design idea, approximate size, placement, and whether you want color or black and grey.
Instagram DM is Kala’s preferred and fastest contact method.
Please allow 1–3 days for a reply. Responses may be slower while Kala is tattooing or catching up on messages.
Kala’s number is monitored during business hours, 11 AM–6 PM.
PRICING & PAYMENT
$130 PER HOUR
The clock starts when the needle touches your skin. Drawing, preparation, design review, placement, and setup are not included in tattooing time.
Consultations are free.
Deposit payment options: Square invoice by email, Cash App, or in person. For a Square invoice, send your name, phone number, and email. Arrange payment details directly with Kala.
DEPOSITS & YOUR DATE
- A $50 nonrefundable deposit is required for everyone. It goes toward your tattoo’s total cost.
- Your date is not held until the deposit is paid. If the date is taken before you pay, it is no longer available.
- When dates are offered by message, you have two days to confirm before the date is offered to someone else.
- You may reschedule up to twice, with at least 24 hours’ notice each time.
- Changes outside those limits require a new deposit.
- No-call/no-shows lose their deposit and must pay a new one to book again.
- If you arrive 15 minutes or more late, you must rebook and pay a new deposit.
DESIGNS & REFERENCES
Custom designs are welcome. Tattoos fit and look different on everyone; Kala will help you work toward your goals and refer you to another artist if needed.
Do not use AI-generated images for tattoo references or placement. Free in-person consultations are available if you need help planning.
Request design changes at least two weeks before your appointment to allow drawing time. Later changes require moving your booking date; the design will not be redrawn within that window.
BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
- Get a full night’s sleep.
- Eat a full meal and drink plenty of water.
- Please bathe before your appointment.
- Do not drink alcohol beforehand or arrive hungover.
- Do not arrive sunburned.
- Kala does not use or recommend numbing cream.
